Please read Teddies Terms and Conditions, These conditions are in place to make it fair for Clients, Candidates and the agency.

 

Terms And Conditions

It’s against the law in the UK to discriminate anyone because of their age, gender, race (include colour, nationality, ethnic, or national origin) religion or belief or sex or disability> Teddies website is accessible to all users and not to treat anyone less favourable. 

 

To register with Teddies Agency, you must be over the age of 18 Years. Please see our Policy Notice For more information. 

 

      Clients’ personal information 

  • Teddies will ask for personal information about you that is relevant for your requirements.
  • Contact details (phone number and email address and home address)
  • Person questions about ethnicity, religion, dietary and medical information that the Nanny may need to know.
  •  
  • It’s your choice and rights to disclose this information with us or not but will help you if you do to find right candidate to suit you.

 

  • No children’s names or details will be shared when advertising your position. We abbreviate B for boys or G for girls.

 

  • Age of children will be advertised.

 

  • Any personal information you share with a Candidate during an interview Teddies does not hold responsibility on how they share that information.

  Candidate’s person information 

We collect personal information about you to match what you are looking for in your next nanny position.

  • Candidate must be over the age of 18 to register with Teddies Agency

 

  • Your contact details, telephone number, email address and home address.

 

  • Persona information about your Ethnicity, medical history and dietary requirements.

 

  • You’re up to date CV with your latest or las job on the CV.

 

  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) 

 

  • Passport or driving licence to confirm candidates can work in the United Kingdom.

 

  • Three checkable references from earlier employers.

 

  • All information we collect about you is keep confidential and only shared with potential clients with your permission to send information based on you.

                                      

 Children's personal information

 At Teddies Agency, our priority is to keep everyone's person information safe, especially children's. it’s important we follow the laws set in England.

When we collect and use your child's or children's personal information, we need to follow the law. The main laws are the Data Protection Act (DPA) and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

We must validly reason to collect your child's or children's personal data. 

 

 Restricting the Collection of your Personal Data

  If you wanted to restrict the use and collection of your personal data. You can achieve this by doing the following: 

  • When you are filling the forms on the website, make sure to check if there is a box which you can leave unchecked, if you don't want to disclose your personal information.
  •  If you have already agreed to share your information with us, feel free to contact us via email and we will be more than happy to change this for you. 
  • Teddies will not distribute your personal information to any third parties unless we have your permission. 
  • We might do so if the law forces us. Your personal information will be used when we need to send.

                                                                  

The right to access your personal data.

You have the right to ask us to confirm if we do or do not hold any of your personal data. If we do, you have the right to access a copy of your data, as well as information about how, and why, we use it. To prevent your data being shown to someone who is not authorised to access it, we may have to verify your identity before we provide you with a copy of the data that we hold.

Our website may have links that lead to other websites. If you click on these links Teddies is not held responsible for your data and privacy protection. Visiting those websites is not governed by this privacy policy agreement. Make sure to read the privacy policy documentation of the website you go to from our website.

 

 

 Information stored.

All information gathered from clients and candidates is protected by password or pin on electronic devices. 

Teddies responsibility is to store any devices with personal information in a locked and secured place to protect when not in use. 

All information that the agency holds has a duty to confidentiality.

You are in your rights to ask for a copy of any information we hold about you. To do this we will ask your personal information to prove we are handing information over to the correct person. 

 

 Fees of Clients

A one-off signing up non-refundable fee of £25  to Register with Teddies. 

The fee is deducted from your final fee if Teddies find you a nanny. 

The fee is only needed to be paid again if you have previously requested your personal data to be removed. 

after three years if the agency has not heard from you all personal details are removed, please see our personal data policy.

 Fee payment is to be paid within seven days after you are sent an invoice once the candidate has excepted a position. 

If the payment is not paid within seven days after the fee is adds on a 1.5% charge for each week the fee is no paid after the seven days of receiving, the invoice. (Caped at 10%)

 Fee payments can only be refunded for unfortunate circumstances.

If Candidate changes their minds once position is offered and fee is paid. Teddies will find you a replacement free of charge if unable to find A replacement, then a percentage of your fee is returned to you. 

 

 Invoice

An invoice is sent by email to the Clients. 

This is also for our requirements to meet and follow HMRC obligation.

The invoice will be sent to client’s email address within the first 48 hours of a candidate excepting the position you have offered them. 

 Once the candidate and client have been notified and both agreed to accept the position the invoice is sent.

Invoice will need to be paid within 7 days of receiving please see fee section for more detail.

 

Your rights to cancel and effect of cancelling. 

You have a right to cancel your registration once registered with the agency. Your registration fee is non-refundable. 

Interviews can be cancelled or rescheduled but with as much notice as possible for the candidate.

If the client decides to cancel after candidate has accepted a position and both parties have been spoken to and the invoice has been sent the client is charged a cancellation fee of 2% of their original fee payment.

Clients and candidates have every right to ask the agency to remove all personal information. please send email teddiesagency@gmail.com

 

Refunds 

 Fee payments are only refundable for unfortunate circumstances that results in the candidate unable to start a position with the client. 

If in the first 14 days of the candidate breaking contract and receiving an instant dismissal a percentage of a refund will be issued to the client.

 

Replacement 

For any reason, your new nanny is unable to start the new position with you. We will help find you a replacement free of charge if invoice has already been paid.

If for any reason the chosen candidate changes heir mind prior to contract being signed. We offer to find you a replacement Nanny free of charge. 

If a candidate can’t be found and is not suitable for clients within the two weeks of notifying us, we offer a percentage of the fee you paid back to you.

Please contact us by email once you have been notified that your candidate has changed her mind to give us plenty of notice to find a replacement.

 

 References 

Candidates should give the agency details of three references of their choice from earlier employment. 

To do a reference check the agency needs: 

  • Reference's name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • The job positions the candidate held from all three references.

The Agency suggest candidates ask for permission from their chosen references before sharing the references details with the agency.

References will be called for a verbal reference. 

Clients will receive a copy of the reference in writing once considering a candidate.

All references details and references forms are kept for the length of time the candidate’s personal information is held by Teddies Agency.

 

 Interviews

Interviews are arranged through the agency, both clients and candidates will be called for availability. Client and candidate will receive confirmation by email. 

Candidates will be given clients personal information. Client’s name of who is attending the interview, clients address and telephone contact number if unable to find meeting place or running late.

The Agency take no responsibility for any lost or damage to be held in the Clients property or any meeting place that is arranged for the interview. 

The agency is not responsible for any travel charges to and from or any expenses while you are at the interview.

Candidates, please remember you are standing for the agency. 

 

Positions not to be offered without Teddies consent.

 Candidates that are put forwards through Teddies Agency for interviews are not to be offered the position without speaking to the agency first. 

If this happens Clients will be sent an invoice to pay a fee for taking on board a nanny that is representing Teddies without following Teddies Terms and Conditions.

Please contact Teddies first. After a position is offered there is still help and hassle-free support, we can offer you once you have found a nanny. 

This is also unfair treatment to Teddies staff for taking their time to find you the perfect candidate. 

 

Contract 

Teddies Agency will supply you with a template contract which is the client's choice if they would like to use or draft their own. 

 The contract will say and outline. 

  • Employment conditions
  • Rights
  • Responsibility
  • Duties

 Signatures to contract are organised between client and candidate.

 The Agency take no responsibility for signing of the contract.

 It is legally binding agreement document between the client and candidate. Not with the agency.

 Teddies Agency are not involved in the employment contract.

 The contract is only between the Client the employer and the candidate the now employee. 

Teddies do not employ candidates and are not employed by Clients a payment the fee is paid for services of Teddies Agency.

  

Reward voucher 

Candidates recommending other candidates and going ahead to except a position with a client, the candidate that recommended the candidate will receive a store voucher of their choice of a supermarkets or retail shop. The agency has a right to refuse voucher for any shop we feel is not right or encouragement of addiction (vapes/cigarettes/alcohol or gambling)

 

 Marketing 

 We May want to send you relevant information about Teddies through post, email and text messages. If you wish to opt out from receiving information, please contact us through the website contact link or by email or text.

Social Media

Clients’ preferences will posted on social media to promote and advertise your position of what you are looking for this includes a brief description. This does Not include your Names, email, telephone number or Address apart from your area you live in but not your full address.

If you wish for social media to not be advertises, please notify Teddies by email (email address)

Text Message Group 

Wats app is the app that will is used to share a clients potential Position with Candidates who are already registered with Teddies. 

Candidates can opt out of the text messaging group when registering with Teddies and receive potential positions by email or phone call.

 

If you wish for social media to not be used, please notify Teddies by email (email address)

 

 Complaints

The agency is confident that it is very unlikely a client or candidate may feel they have to make a complaint against the Agency.

 We are here to make everyone feel comfortable and hassle free for you.

Teddies Agency will not except any form of verbal or written abuse when spoken to or contacted though the website or email.
